A video of a young lady named Phoebe has gone popular on X, formerly Twitter, after she gave a dramatic 21-day marriage ultimatum, sparking much debate online.
In the popular video, Phoebe publicly addressed males, begging them to marry her within 21 days, citing her fear of ageing, menopause, and remaining unmarried.
Phoebe expressed her emotions in the video, saying she will turn 32 this year and believes time is no longer on her side.
She said: “I’m turning 32 years old this year and I am already reaching menopause.”
She went on to set a specific deadline, emphasising that her words must be taken seriously.
Phoebe said: “Okay, I’m giving you people 21 days to get married to me. It not a threat but it’s a warning for real.”
Phoebe admitted that she is still a virgin and does not want to be such for the rest of her life.
She said: “I am a virgin and I don’t want to to die a virgin for crying out loud.”
She also responded violently to potential criticism over her previous decisions.
Phoebe stated: “It’s not funny anymore and no body should come and tell me that during my youthful age that I was refusing men.”
Phoebe explained her circumstances, insisting that she had never turned down marriage proposals.
She said: “I did not refuse any man, non of them wanted to marry me, they all wanted to do bad bad things and I said no, I had to keep the virginity.”
She added that her decision was based on her principles, not a lack of opportunity.
Phoebe admitted she is now afraid of time slipping away.
She said: “But now, I’ve realised that I will soon reach 40 if care is not taken.”
Making an open appeal, she said: “You people should come and marry me, come and marry me.”
She lowered her expectations, saying: “I don’t even have spec at this point, anybody, rich, poor, tall, short, no not short oooh, rich, tall, handsome, anyone please at this point.”
Phoebe concluded with a final emotional plea.
She warned: “I seriously don’t want to die a virgin.”
She ended by repeating her ultimatum, saying: “21 days, if not you people will not like what you you will your eye to see.”
