As she approaches her 28th birthday, a Nigerian woman has sparked controversy on social media by publicly pleading for assistance in finding a husband.

The woman worried about being single at her age and said she didn’t want to celebrate another birthday by herself in an emotional video that was posted online.

She also stressed that marriage and companionship are more important to her than money.
