Young men are reconsidering marriage after hearing a Nigerian doctor assert that mothers pass on their intelligence to their offspring.
According to him, children mostly inherit their intelligence from their mothers because the X chromosome carries the gene for intelligence, and women have two X chromosomes while men only have one.

“Children inherit intelligence from their mother. If you see any child that is not intelligent or that is not smart, blame the mother. Why do I say so? The gene for intelligence is always from the X chromosome, and women have it in abundance.”
He continued by advising single guys to choose their life mates carefully, stressing that you will imitate the person you marry.
He asserted that a child’s intellectual inheritance may be impacted by a marriage based only on appearance or physical characteristics like “breast and yansh.”
“Leave breast and yansh. Look for women with good IQ. Very important as a young man. Look at all these things if you want to get married,” he added.
Reactions to the comment have been numerous. One person said, “Ah! I didn’t know that mothers are the source of intelligence 😳. “The true MVPs are smart women,” another person added.
Men must awaken. Young men have been reminded that appearances are not everything in marriage by the doctor’s suggestion, which has generated discussions on the internet.
