A new mother, Nneomah Abraham, has announced the end of her marriage just two years after tying the knot and only three weeks after welcoming her first child.
Taking to Facebook, Nneomah shared a photo of herself and her newborn while revealing that her marriage officially ended on August 2.
Reflecting on her journey, she wrote:
“12th May 2024, when I got married, I came online here to announce that I am finally taken.
And I am here again to tell you all that the marriage ended on 2nd August.
Marriage is not a do-or-die affair, and please, there was nothing like physical violence.”
She later shared a video showing herself carrying her baby on her back while standing outside with her luggage, explaining that she was returning to her father’s house following the separation.
In the caption accompanying the video, she wrote:
“I tried to make it work but I couldn’t. Mentally stressed, emotionally stressed and also physically stressed.”
She concluded the emotional post by declaring:
“I’m done for good.”
Her announcement has sparked widespread reactions online, with many social media users expressing sympathy, encouraging her to stay strong, and wishing her and her newborn the very best as they begin a new chapter.
