A woman described her husband’s worry during her caesarean surgery, sharing a hilarious yet poignant anecdote from childbirth.
Her story states that she was on the operating table getting ready for birth when she momentarily closed her eyes to pray, which caused her husband to react unexpectedly.
“During my C-section, I closed my eyes to pray… hubby shouted, ‘Haa! Don’t go babe!’ I could hear the fear in his voice,” she recounted. “I yelled back, ‘I’m not going anywhere ode, I’m just trying to pray!’ ‘Nothing missing, nothing broken.’ Everyone burst out laughing.”
The woman clarified that the difficult situation soon gave way to laughter among the medical staff, which improved the mood in the operating room.
Despite being dramatic, she continued, her husband’s response served as a source of solace and diversion during the process.
“I told the doctor, ‘I said don’t let him in, he’s going to distract us.’ But the doctor said, ‘That’s exactly what I need him to be doing — distracting you and gisting,’” she said.
