A lady posted a heartbreaking experience after her brother visited a female he met online, and the incident went viral online.
The lady, @Ariareign on X (previously Twitter), reported that her brother met the girl, whose identity has not been released, on Facebook four months ago.
The lady stated that her brother had sent the girl gifts and money and invited her over, but she declined.
However, the lady invited her brother to her house in the Mainland.

”When he told me about it .I didn’t agree at first coz he wanted us to go together. When I heard the girl lives in the mainland agege specifically I warned him coz we’ve heard stories of how the mainland can be rough. But he was blinded by love and refused. So as a supportive sister I accompanied him there”,
Upon their arrival, they met the girl and went to a restaurant. However, 5 boys abruptly emerged and harassed them.
Sharing how she handled the situation, the X user tweeted, “I ran away and went to look for help. Before I came with the good strangers they have beaten up my brother and took his phone and everything. We rushed him to the hospital. He got discharged a week later. He’s so heartbroken. I’m never going to the mainland again”.
