A man who identified himself as a Fulani has sparked reactions online after publicly declaring his support for Peter Obi ahead of the 2027 presidential election.
In a video circulating on social media, he said he would rather support Obi than back a continuation of the current administration, arguing that Nigerians should focus on electing competent leaders rather than voting along religious or ethnic lines.
According to him:
“I, Ibrahim, a real Fulani boy, would rather vote for Peter Obi than repeat this government. That’s my choice. Peter Obi will be my candidate than to repeat this government, yes I said it. We voted for religion, I didn’t work. We voted for tr!balism, I didn’t work. We have to vote for a right person that is the fact. We the Fulanis everyday we are l0s!ng our lives, our cows are being pursued and our brothers are being k!!dn@pped. A Fulani’s part is always silent because nobody wants to know a Fulani’s part…”
His remarks have generated discussions online, with many Nigerians sharing differing opinions on leadership, governance, and the factors that should influence voting decisions in the 2027 elections.
