Popular music artist David Adeleke, popularly known as Davido, has taken to the comment section of an Instagram post by one Anu Mitchell Adeleke to deny allegations circulating recently that he is her father.
The young Mitchell Anu Adeleke had written a lengthy post on her page expressing excitement about being a teenager and went on to ask the singer to undergo a DNA test so he could accept her as his child.
Reacting to the claim, Davido stated that he has conducted five DNA tests in the past and that all of them came back negative. He further explained that he has never met the girl’s mother and described her as an obsessed fan who is allegedly lying to her child.
In his words, “This needs to stop. I actually have children. Stop this nonsense.”
As of the time of writing this report, the mother of the child, Ms. Ayo Labinjoh, is yet to make any public statement. This has raised questions among the public as to whether she knows the true identity of her child’s biological father.
