Emmanuella, the former partner of Nigerian comedian and online streamer Oderhohwo Joseph Efe, popularly known as Carter Efe, has finally reacted to the series of claims he recently made about their relationship.

In a message shared on her Instagram page, @___nuella, Emmanuella said she never thought she would be pushed to publicly address such a personal matter but felt she had no choice after Carter Efe repeatedly spoke about her online.

She explained that contrary to his claims, they were still very much involved just three days before his post was published and had even been intimate. Emmanuella also confirmed they share a child, adding that she often has to plead with him before he releases money for their baby’s upkeep.

According to her, Carter Efe discouraged her from working and forced her to give up her ambition of becoming an actress. She further alleged that he blocked her opportunity to work in a hospital, accusing her of intending to have inappropriate relationships with doctors there.

Emmanuella also claimed that he cut her off from her female friends, isolated her from her family, and blocked anyone who tried to reach out to her. She said he even shared a video involving her friend’s brother, which she described as a form of intimidation.

She went on to allege that Carter Efe called her on the same morning he made his post, warning that he would brand her a prostitute and shut down her social media presence.

These fresh allegations have further fuelled the heated online conversations surrounding the messy split between the former couple.
