A Nigerian man has generated responses online after narrating his interaction with a lady who allegedly blocked him because he refused to offer her ₦300,000, despite earlier aiding her with ₦55,000 to buy a ring light.
According to the man, the lady contacted him via direct messaging, saying she appreciated his material and wanted to become a content maker but couldn’t afford a ring light.
He enquired for the equipment’s price and promptly sent her ₦55,000 to support her desire.

“The level of entitlement Nigerian women possess needs to be studied. I was going through my DMs and saw a message from one girl. She said she likes my content and wanted to start creating content but didn’t have a ring light. I asked how much it was, she said ₦55k, and I sent her the money.”
The man claimed that after some time without conversing, the lady returned and asked him to lend her ₦300,000, promising to repay within three months.
He declined due to concerns about her student status and lack of recognised income, but offered her ₦100,000 instead.
“She insisted it had to be ₦300k. I told her I couldn’t lend her that amount. She later asked me to just give her the ₦100k, but I told her the grace for that had gone. The next thing she did was block me. Imagine if I had lent her ₦300k,” he added.
