Speaking about his preference, Speed Darlington said he wanted someone who would address him respectfully and attend to his needs rather than take a share of his money.

“Why I no go use you? You need to be used. You’re very useless, if not a fraud. I’m sure you can’t afford to buy a car. You used your own hand to make yourself my manager. Me wey dey look for who go serve me. What I want is someone that will be answering me ‘Sir’ from morning till night.

“Wetin I wan do with manager? So my money go finish sharp sharp abi? I don’t need a manager because I don’t want anybody to eat my money. What I need is a house help.”

Goskey accuses Speed Darlington of owing three years’ salary

The rapper’s remarks come amid allegations by Goskey, his former manager, who claimed that Speed Darlington owed him three years’ salary and subjected him to mistreatment during their working relationship.

Goskey also reportedly alleged that the rapper created an unhealthy working environment, further escalating the dispute between the former associates.

Dispute over ₦30 million boxing match payment

Goskey additionally claimed that Speed Darlington received ₦30 million for his boxing match against fellow entertainer Carter Efe but paid him only a small portion of the money.

Reports about the alleged payment have cited different figures, with the latest account putting the amount Goskey reportedly received at ₦250,000.

The allegations have fuelled public discussion about the breakdown of the professional relationship between the rapper and his former manager.

However, the claims surrounding the alleged unpaid salaries, mistreatment and boxing match payment remain allegations attributed to Goskey.
