Online attention has been drawn to a Nigerian woman’s article explaining why she stopped communicating with her sister who lived overseas in 2008.

@Ogodosandra revealed in a post on her X handle that her sister, who lives overseas, called her aunt.

The X user claimed that because she frequently visited her sister while she was in Nigeria, she looked forward to speaking with her.

Unknowning to her sister, the phone was given to her in the interim, which led to an unexpected comment.

‎”No give her the phone make she no go beg me money as I wan give you money”, She said during the phone conversation.

But because of her sister’s comment, she hung up the phone and pretended that there was a network issue.

The X user claims that she has never begged her sister for money, not even while she was living in Nigeria.
