A Nigerian woman has sparked online reactions after pleading for her husband to return home, four days after he reportedly went missing following a shocking encounter at his workplace.

According to the woman, the situation began when she overheard her husband on the phone arranging to meet another woman at his workplace.

She admitted to following him in secret to see what was going on, as she was curious and concerned.

“Please help me beg my husband to come back home. I didn’t want to bring this outside publicly, but because for four days he has not come back, that’s why I’m begging everybody to help me,” she said.

She recounted that while hiding in the office, she saw her husband arrive with the other woman.

Things reportedly took a dramatic turn when he asked the lady for protection during their meeting.

The woman then revealed that she surprised them by stepping out of hiding and handing him what he had requested, making him realize she had been there all along before she quietly walked away.

“He said he didn’t have CD, so I brought out CD and gave it to him. He collected it and said thank you without looking at who gave it to him. I even asked him, ‘Should I increase the AC?’ He said yes. That was when he saw me,” she explained.

Despite the dramatic encounter, the woman insisted she had forgiven her husband and appealed for his return, assuring him that she had prepared his favourite meal and meant him no harm.
