An unidentified Nigerian woman posted on Instagram in 2025 a Direct Message (DM) she received from Nollywood actor Charles Okocha, which caused her mental agony.

The woman revealed in a widely shared video that on August 2, 2025, she got a direct message from the actor.

The woman claims that the actor called her an ugly fool in a comment she received.
Before she discovered it was from the actor’s official Instagram account, she thought it was a spoof account.

The woman emphasised that because of her respectable upbringing, she has never trolled anyone online.

‎”I don’t insult people. My parents raised me well. I don’t insult elders”,She added.

She got depressed as a result of the remark, demonstrating the emotional upheaval it caused her.

She answered the actor’s statement, but he didn’t respond even though he saw it.

”At some point I became depressed. I became emotionally down and started thinking.He saw the messages but he didn’t reply me”, She stated.
