Nigerians are concerned about the condition of a clearly dilapidated commercial bus observed carrying passengers on a Lagos road.

A video circulating on social media shows the old yellow “Danfo” bus with a heavily damaged body. The driver’s side of the vehicle appeared to have totally broken off at the roof, leaving the bus without a proper driver’s door.

Despite its apparently bad condition, several passengers were observed crowded inside the car while it was on the road.

The video has prompted indignation among social media users, with many questioning how the car was permitted to operate and whether it had passed the required roadworthiness testing.

Given the amount of the damage evident on the bus, some Nigerians have voiced concerns about the safety of the driver and passengers.
