Julius Malema has strongly condemned the recent xenophobic att@cks targeting Nigerians and other foreign nationals in South Africa.

Speaking during a public event, a visibly emotional Malema stated that he would never support vi0lence or discrimination against fellow Africans living in the country.

“You say Zimbabweans take your jobs, Nigerians take your jobs, and you march, close shops, and b3at up people. Tell us, after doing that, how many jobs have you created? By 3eating up these Nigerians, Ghanaian, Zimbabweans….You have b3aten them and taking them out of the country, how many jobs have you created after that? You be@t people because they took your jobs…They ran away, You closed a shop that hired five people and say they take our jobs. After closing that job, how many hobs have you created? 

Unskilled men with no skill, none whatsoever, saying somebody took your job? The only skill they know is to drink all of that nonsense and pretend they are revolutionary” he said

He criticized individuals calling for foreign nationals to be removed from schools and hospitals, saying he could not support people who would look at an African child and demand their expulsion simply because they were not South African. He also condemned calls for pregnant foreign women to be denied medical treatment.

Malema added that he was not interested in gaining the support or votes of people who promote h@tred and att@cks against other Africans.

His comments come amid renewed xenophobic tensions and att@cks against foreign nationals in parts of South Africa.
