Armed baπdits reportedly invaded the residence of Lukman Muttaka in Kaura Namoda and abducted seven members of his family, including his two wives and five children.

The incident allegedly occurred on the night of Wednesday, May 13, 2026. One of the abducted children was said to be an infant.

During the att@ck, Muttaka reportedly made a desperate Facebook post in Hausa saying, “Barayi acikin gidana taimaka man dan Allah,” which translates to “Thieves are in my house, help me for God’s sake.”

His younger brother, Tijjani Lukman Baban Yusra, also confirmed the incident on Facebook, stating that the att@ckers succeeded in taking the entire family from the house.

The incident has further heightened fears over insecurity in communities across Zamfara State, with residents reportedly calling for urgent government intervention to tackle recurring bandit attacks and k!dnappings in the region.
