A Nigerian woman has cried out for justice after alleging that her 21-year-old younger brother was st@bbed in the neck and k!lled following a dispute over ₦100.
According to the woman, the incident occurred on Saturday, August 8, 2026, after her brother reportedly travelled by motorcycle to visit a friend.
She alleged that upon arriving at his destination, her brother transferred ₦500 to the account of a roadside trader so he could obtain cash to pay the motorcycle rider.
However, the trader reportedly told him that he would deduct ₦100 as a transaction charge from the ₦500 transferred.
The woman said:
“My younger brother was k!lled on Saturday, the 8th of August 2026. My brother was stabbed in the neck, just because of ₦100.
“He was supposed to pay the bike guy, so because he wasn’t having cash, he transferred ₦500 into the trader’s account to give him cash. The aboki man said he was going to remove charges of ₦100 from the ₦500 my brother transferred.”
The circumstances surrounding the alleged st@bbing, including what happened after the disagreement over the transaction charge, remain unclear.
The woman’s account has sparked outrage online, with many Nigerians calling for justice and urging authorities to investigate the circumstances surrounding the young man’s d3ath.
