A Nigerian lady has generated outrage online after disclosing the terrible things she did in a previous relationship, all in the name of love.

In a famous TikTok video, she detailed how her ex-boyfriend allegedly instructed her to compose a 250-word apology letter simply because she missed his call.

Shockingly, she actually wrote it.

In her words, read what she said below:

“If you ever feel stupid, just know that me, I used to be with a guy that because I missed his call just once, he told me to write an apology letter on a paper, 250 words. Yeah, because I missed his call once. And guess what? I wrote the letter. I did.”

She added that the letter was more than just a few lines, but rather a well prepared apology intended to demonstrate her genuine remorse, even if she now realises it was unnecessary.

The lady claimed that her efforts did not end there.

Despite the fact that her father’s house had a washing machine, she would go there and wash his pants and shirts by hand.

She cooked for him and did numerous other things voluntarily, feeling that this was what love required.

“The first sentence I wrote was, ‘I’m not writing this letter because you asked me to write it. I’m writing this letter because I’m really sorry for not picking your call.’ I actually wrote like 200 words. I did all those stupid things for love,” she added.

Social media users have responded furiously. One person said, “Love will humble you, eh. Thank God for growth, because what is this? Another replied, “250 words, ke? Is this a WAEC exam?
