“He threatened my grades for s3x” — Lady recounts shocking ordeal with Abia State University lecturer over exam results

A disturbing account of alleged $3xual h@rassment by a lecturer during her 200 level has been shared by a former Abia State University student.

Allegations of lecturer misconduct surface

The woman, who wished to remain anonymous, claimed that she was invited to the lecturer’s office following a departmental test.

She claims that after praising her academic achievement at first, the lecturer made improper advances and connected her grades to compliance.

Concerns about power abuse in higher education and the vulnerability of female students in academic settings have been rekindled by the revelation.

During my 200 level at Abia State University, I had a lecturer who clearly had his eyes on me. After one of his tests, almost everyone got an F or D, but I got a C. He called me, praised me, then tried to touch me. I stood up and told him I wasn’t comfortable. He asked if I didn’t want an A, and I said I would earn it the right way,” she said.

He threatened me that I would carry over his course if I didn’t cooperate. I thought he was bluffing, but I ended up with a carryover. I cried so much that day. I had decided never to give in, but he later died in a car accident. It was tragic, but I felt relieved,” she added.
