Nigerian singer Speed Darlington has announced that he is looking to hire a personal assistant who would also double as his personal cleaner.

The singer said he wants an employee whose reasoning and outlook are similar to his, stressing that the prospective assistant should be willing to stand by him during serious confrontations.

PA expected to defend him during fights

In a statement announcing the vacancy, Speed Darlington outlined some of the unusual qualities he wants in his prospective employee.> “I need a PA/personal cleaner who has reflections like me; we should have the same reasoning. The person should be ready to f!ght if I get into a serious fight with anyone.”

The singer also listed another unusual requirement, saying the successful applicant should be familiar with Burna Boy’s songs.

According to him, the PA would be expected to remind him not to dance to Burna Boy’s music whenever he visits a club.> “He should also know every Burna Boy song, so whenever I go to a club, he can remind me not to vibe to it.”

₦100,000 monthly salary

Speed Darlington said the successful applicant would receive a monthly salary of ₦100,000, in addition to one meal per day.> “His salary will be ₦100,000 monthly, and I will feed him one meal a day.”

The unusual job requirements have attracted attention online, with social media users reacting to the singer’s expectations for the role and the combination of personal assistance, cleaning and confrontation-related duties.
