A Nigerian lady identified as @LouisaChidima on X (formerly Twitter) has shared a heartbreaking account of her sister’s marriage.
According to the X user, her aunt solely sponsors all expenses in the marriage but keeps it out of the public eye.
In a devastating turn, her aunt discovered that her husband, who has no stable income, opened a boutique for his girlfriend.
As a result, her aunt locked up the boutique, got arrested, and was taken to the town hall.
However, her husband was called upon to settle the dispute and on sighting his wife at the town hall, he fled.
Eventually, her aunt secured her release from security operatives, headed home, and burnt her husband’s belongings.
