“God will pun!sh all of you!” — Peller blasts critics comparing his wedding photo with Jarvis to Zlatan’s

Nigerian content creator Peller has criticised social media users who compared a wedding photograph of him and his wife, Jarvis, with a similar picture of Nigerian singer Zlatan Ibile and his wife.

Peller reacted after some users suggested that Jarvis was the “man of the house” because she was seated while he stood beside her in their wedding photograph.

According to the content creator, people were using the difference in their poses to question his position in the marriage and suggest that Jarvis did not respect him.

Expressing his displeasure, Peller accused social media users of deliberately comparing the photographs to ridicule him.

He said:> “You people posted Zlatan wedding photo sitting while his wife stood, and mine where I was standing and Jarvis sitting, saying Jarvis is the man of the house and that’s why she doesn’t respect me. God will pun!sh all of you!”

Peller further explained that the photograph circulating online did not tell the full story, insisting that there were other pictures in which he was seated while Jarvis stood.

He maintained that he had simply chosen a different pose for the particular photograph and questioned why people were attaching meaning to their positions.

He added:> “You didn’t see other pictures where I was sitting. I just decided to change style, and now you’re saying I’m not the man of the house.”

His reaction has drawn attention to the online comparisons, with the discussion centring on wedding photography, gender roles and the assumptions people make about power and respect in relationships based on a single picture.
