Former Aviation Minister Femi Fani-Kayode has denied claims that Germany rejected him for an ambassadorial position, calling the reports untrue.
This comes after The Gazette published an exclusive report suggesting that Germany had rejected his appointment as ambassador.
In a post on his X account, he described the article as “fake news,” claiming that it was distributed by opposition individuals who were unhappy with his nomination.
He also reaffirmed his determination to continue serving the country despite the turmoil.
Read his post below;
“Fake news everywhere.
“These opposition elements are so pained by my appointment and they are doing everything to discredit me and scuttle it.
“Whether they like it or not I will serve my country! Keep crying!”
