A Nigerian woman has stirred outrage online after publicly claiming that she is now eager to become a second, third, fourth, or even fifth wife owing to recurrent disappointments from single men.
In a popular video posted on X (previously Twitter) by @Teeniiola, the lady revealed her dissatisfaction with her dating experiences, claiming that interactions with unmarried males had left her emotionally drained.
In her words, read what she said below:
“I don’t mind being a second wife, a third wife, even the fourth or fifth wife. Me, I don’t mind. What single guys have shown me, especially last year, is enough.
I am officially open to married men. As a single guy, please avoid me. If you don’t avoid me, I will swear for you”.
She says she no longer wants to deal with the inconsistency, games, and heartache that frequently accompany dating men who say they are single but don’t act consistently or seriously.
Online responses to her statement have been varied; although some concur that stability might occasionally be more important than titles, others have cautioned that getting into a polygamous marriage could lead to further issues.
One commenter wrote, “If peace is what you want, make sure you’re not settling because you’re tired.” Another added, “The issue is not single or married men. The issue is choosing better.”
