According to a report by Daily Post on Wednesday, October 28, 2026, Nollywood actress Doris Ogala has accused Pastor Jerry Eze and Apostle Johnson Suleman of allegedly having a role in her remand, claiming that the situation may be connected to sensitive information she possesses about them.
Ogala, who is the African Action Congress (AAC) candidate for the 2027 Abia State governorship election, made the allegations after a Lagos court ordered that she be remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre.
The development is linked to her ongoing legal dispute with Pastor Chris Okafor, the founder of Grace Nation Bible Ministry. The actress is facing criminal allegations relating to cyberbullying, harassment, attempted extortion and the alleged publication of private materials associated with the cleric.
Following the court’s decision, Ogala took to social media to express her frustration and raise concerns about the circumstances surrounding her detention. She mentioned Okafor, Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman in her statement, alleging that the three men were responsible for her present situation.
The actress further claimed that people connected to the pastors had approached her over a video she previously released. According to her account, individuals associated with Jerry Eze and Johnson Suleman allegedly asked her to publish the video in an attempt to address issues that could affect their reputations.
Ogala maintained that she possessed information about the individuals she mentioned and insisted that she was not afraid to speak about her experiences.
She also expressed fears about her safety while in custody, alleging that something could happen to her in prison. Consequently, she appealed to members of the public to hold the named clerics responsible if anything happened to her.
However, her statements represent allegations made by the actress, and the available report does not independently establish that the pastors influenced the court’s decision to remand her.
The legal dispute between Ogala and Okafor has continued to attract public attention, particularly because of the allegations exchanged and the personalities involved.
Meanwhile, the actress’s detention has also generated reactions within political circles, given her position as the AAC’s governorship candidate in Abia State.
The court proceedings are expected to continue as the parties address the issues before the judiciary. The allegations against Ogala remain subject to legal determination, while her claims against the religious leaders have not been independently proven.
As the controversy develops, further attention is likely to focus on the next court proceedings and whether the individuals mentioned by the actress will publicly respond to her accusations.
