A Nigerian man has generated outrage online after warning men about so-called “church girls,” specifically young Pentecostal ladies, claiming they may not be as innocent as they seem.
In a viral video published on X (previously Twitter), he noted that some girls who regularly invite guys to church or discuss their faith may not be as trustworthy as they appear.
He pointed out that many young pastors and choir girls engage in disruptive behaviour that contradicts the pristine picture they present.
Read what he said below:
“Don’t use ‘because she’s a church girl, marry her.’ You see all these girls that usually say, ‘I’m inviting you to my church.’ If you go there, you will see their young pastors too.
You see the girl among the choir. All those girls are spoilt like mad. Like, they’re too spoil. I wish some guys can share their experience. Bro, avoid all those kind girls, if not you will suffer.”
The speaker emphasised that appearances can be deceiving, saying that some girls use church to attract men or conceal their genuine lifestyle.
His statements triggered an online debate, with some agreeing that church attendance did not guarantee a woman’s morality, while others warned against generalising all church girls.
