A lady has generated internet debate by offering relationship advise to women dating gamers and football fans, asking them to accept their partners’ hobbies during intense gaming sessions or live football events.
Speaking on behalf of gamers and football fans, the lady cautioned that interruptions during games or matches could cause unneeded tension, especially if expectations have previously been stated.
“So I want to say something on behalf of our gamers and the football lovers. Ladies, if you’re dating any of these two, don’t call them if they are having a game or their favourite club is having a match. Don’t,” she said.
She emphasised that once a spouse has expressed such preferences, wilfully ignoring them could be interpreted as provocation.
“If they already informed you about these particularities, don’t try proving to be a stubborn girlfriend. Don’t disturb them because you don’t know the tension going on in that game and you might not like how they reply you,” she added.
The lady went on to advise techniques for ladies to keep themselves engaged rather than disrupting their partners during such times.
“So maybe you can learn how to play Candy Crush or Subway Surf, so that whenever he is playing his game, you’ll be playing yours,” she said.
She also promoted common interests as a means of strengthening connections.
“Or better still, you watch the football match with him,” she added.
In conclusion, she suggested that understanding and compatibility in activities could have a favourable impact on long-term partnerships.
“Sweet. Marriage don set,” she said.
Her remarks have contributed to ongoing discussions regarding limits, communication, and mutual respect in partnerships, especially when personal hobbies and passions are involved.
