US President Donald Trump praised Trinidadian-born rapper Nicki Minaj as “so hot” during Monday’s White House luncheon.
Minaj was there at the Rose Garden luncheon when the comment was made.
Before making the personal comment, Trump introduced the rapper and complimented her skill and public support, calling her “respected.”
“We also have a woman who is respected and quite attractive. She is a wonderful friend of mine. “I wouldn’t say conservative; I’d say common sense,” he explained.
“She’s a fantastic person, a woman who is appreciated by everyone, and she possesses genuine talent; we have Nicki Minaj.
“She’s such a great person and respected by everybody.”
Later, Minaj shared pictures from the occasion on her X page with the remark, “Whoa!!!! #WhiteHouse Barbie with her favourite President of all time!
The rapper promoted Trump’s immigration “gold card,” an expedited visa and residency program, in January.
This followed her appearance next to the president at the Trump Accounts Summit in Washington, where she referred to herself as “probably the president’s number.”
“I am unaffected by hatred or what others say. “It actually motivates me to support him more,” she stated at the occasion.
