Daddy Freeze, a media personality, has spoken out about singer Davido and Sophia Momodu’s ongoing custody battle over their daughter, Imade Adeleke.

According to him, someone close to the lawyer involved contacted him to complain about the online backlash she has received since Davido publicly called her out. 

While Daddy Freeze stated that he does not condone any form of intimidation, bullying, or harassment, he believes the situation highlights a deeper issue in Nigeria’s legal system.

He stated that lawyers frequently use harsh language and personal attacks in court to win cases, and that he had also faced insults during court proceedings 

Freeze questioned why deeply sensitive issues, such as references to Davido’s late son, were allegedly brought up during arguments, calling such tactics “unnecessary low blows.”.

He went on to say that, while someone might win in court, social media is still the “court of public opinion,” where the results can be very different.
