Police in Nairobi are investigating the death of a 22-year-old university student, Consolata Githinji, who reportedly fell from the sixth floor of an apartment building.

The incident is said to have occurred at a short-stay accommodation facility in the Kileleshwa area, where she allegedly fell from apartment C601.

Authorities have arrested a 33-year-old man who was believed to have been with her at the time, as investigations continue to determine the circumstances surrounding the incident.

CCTV footage from the apartment complex reportedly captured her final movements before the fall, which police are now reviewing as part of their inquiry.
