An Ethiopian national has been sh0t d3ad in downtown Johannesburg amid growing concerns over xenophobic violence.

According to reports, the victim was att@cked at the busy intersection of Jeppe and Von Wielligh Streets. CCTV footage reportedly shows a man approaching him from behind near a street stall before sh00ting him at close range and walking away.

The victim collapsed at the scene, while bystanders looked on.

The South African Police Service confirmed the incident, stating that no arrests have been made so far and investigations are ongoing.

The k!lling comes against the backdrop of rising tensions, with reports of hara$$ment and att@cks targeting foreign nationals from other African countries living in South Africa.

Despite widespread condemnation online, concerns remain as such incidents continue to be reported.
