A California plastic surgeon, Dr. Sarwa Aldoori, who surrendered her medical license following disciplinary action connected to a patient’s d3ath, has been found d€ad.
Sarwa Aldoori, 71, was identified by the Kern County Coroner after she was discovered on Tuesday evening, June 30, at a residence on Pineglen Drive in Bakersfield.
According to the Bakersfield Police Department, the investigation remains active, and the cause, manner, and circumstances surrounding her death have not yet been determined.
Aldoori practiced as an obstetrician-gynecologist (OB-GYN) for about 35 years and was one of two physicians at Bella Health and Beauty, where she specialized in women’s health, wellness, and cosmetic surgery.
Her death comes after she surrendered her California physician’s license in March 2024 following disciplinary proceedings related to the d3ath of one of her patients.
According to records from the Medical Board of California, Aldoori was initially placed on seven years’ probation before regulators alleged she failed to comply with the probation terms, resulting in the surrender of her license.
The disciplinary case arose from allegations filed in 2021 concerning a liposuction and tummy tuck procedure performed on a patient who d!ed in April 2016.
State records alleged that Aldoori did not have sufficient training to perform the operation. The patient reportedly d!ed from a fat embolism, a condition in which fat droplets enter the bloodstream.
