At least two people have died in an apparent mass shooting at an indoor ice rink in Pawtucket, Rhode Island, United States.

According to WPRI, the shooting occurred on Monday afternoon, February 16.

Police told the outlet that the suspect is de@d.

Branden Mello, a local sports reporter, reported that one of the shooting victims also d!ed.

The shooting allegedly occurred during a boys’ hockey game between two nearby schools. 

According to Melo, the shots came from behind the stands. He also reported that a local father was hailed as a “hero” for grabbing a gun from the shooter, despite the fact that the shooter had a second weapon.

Four individuals have been taken to the hospital.
