A pregnant woman was among three people injured in a terrifying knife att@ck in Paris after a man allegedly shouted, “Allah sent me to k!ll women,” before launching a vi0lent a$$ault in broad daylight.

The incident occurred around 9:30 a.m. near Porte de Clichy in the French capital.

According to Interior Minister Laurent Nunez, the suspect targeted three women aged 19, 24, and 36, leaving two of them with life-threatening injuries.

Witnesses told local media that one of the victims was pregnant. Reports indicate that one woman suffered stab wounds to her lower back, while another was seriously injured in the abdomen.

The suspect, identified as a 31-year-old man believed to have mental health issues, was arrested at the scene after a swift police response. Authorities said he was carrying two knives at the time of the att@ck.

Videos circulating on social media showed a man dressed in a cream tracksuit and armed with large knives allegedly att@cking a young woman before being overpowered by bystanders and pinned to the ground.

A source close to the investigation told Le Parisien that the suspect allegedly declared, “Allah sent me to k!ll women,” during the att@ck.

Following the incident, the Porte de Clichy tram station was temporarily closed as police secured the area and launched an investigation.

Paris Mayor Emmanuel Grégoire expressed support for the victims and praised the off-duty police officer who helped stop the suspect.

“I extend all my thoughts to the victims of this act of extreme vi0lence,” he wrote. “The investigation must shed light on the motivations of the perpetrator. Deep gratitude to the off-duty police officer who subdued the assailant.”

Authorities have confirmed that investigations are ongoing to determine the exact circumstances and motive behind the att@ck.
