An Air Peace flight was reportedly delayed on Thursday, September 3, after two female passengers were allegedly assigned the same seat on the aircraft.

According to Nigerian actor Kevin Mike, who said he witnessed the incident, the drama began when one of the women boarded the flight and proceeded to her assigned seat, only to discover another female passenger already occupying it.

The actor said both women presented tickets showing that they had been assigned the exact same seat.

Airline staff reportedly attempted to resolve the situation by asking both passengers to disembark from the aircraft. However, according to Kevin Mike, neither woman agreed to leave, with both insisting that they had valid tickets and must fly.

Air Peace seeks volunteers to take next flight

As the disagreement continued and the flight remained delayed, Air Peace crew members reportedly made an announcement asking whether any passenger would volunteer to take the next available flight in exchange for a 50% discount.

Initially, no passenger accepted the offer, prolonging the delay as the two women maintained their positions.

The situation was eventually resolved after two male passengers reportedly volunteered to take the next available flight in exchange for the compensation offered by the airline.

The flight subsequently departed after the seat dispute was resolved.
