A 29-year-old woman, Olumma Chizoba Lucy Akataobi, has reportedly d!£d after allegedly being be@ten by her husband in Owerri, Imo State.

The incident is said to have occurred around 11 p.m. on Monday, February 2, with family members alleging that her d£@th resulted from domestic vi0lence.

Olumma’s sister, Ezinne Onyedikachi Brenda Akataobi, has appealed for justice, accusing the deceased’s husband, Kelechi Prince Okeke, of be@ing her to d£@th.

According to Ezinne, the alleged assa¥lt followed a dispute over ₦35,000, which she said was money paid by Olumma’s customer into her husband’s bank account.

“She only asked him for her ₦35,000 to continue her business the next day, and he k!ll£d her,” Ezinne alleged.

She also claimed that after the incident, Kelechi told people that Olumma coll@psed while eating and complained of chest pain before she d+ed, insisting that her sister was not sick and had made plans to go to the market the next morning.

Ezinne further alleged that the family had previously warned Kelechi against physically abu$ing Olumma and had encouraged her to return home.

In a later update, Ezinne confirmed that Olumma’s husband is currently being held at the State Criminal Investigation Department (CID), Owerri, as investigations continue.
