An electrician has reportedly lost his life after being electrocuted while carrying out repair work on a transformer in Mbodo Aluu, Rivers State.

The tragic incident occurred on Friday, July 10, 2026, while the victim was said to be working on faulty electrical cables connected to the transformer.

Eyewitnesses disclosed that the electrician was in the process of repairing the cables when he was fatally electrocuted.
