Social media is going crazy over a Nigerian woman’s tweet explaining why her spouse ignored her for four days.

The woman, who went by @Queeneth01olx on X (formerly Twitter), disclosed that her husband disregarded her after she turned down her mother-in-law’s pressing financial request.

The X user revealed that they decided to share a bank account and be equal partners prior to being married.

In the meantime, her mother-in-law made an urgent plea for ₦200,000 from her son.

She refused to follow her husband’s instructions to move the funds from their joint account to his mother.

“Not because I hate his mother. I actually like her. But ₦200k from our joint account without even knowing what the business is?”, She stated, recounting the incident.

She was almost overwhelmed when her mother-in-law contacted her after she hung up on her sister-in-law’s call the next day.

Her husband told her a few days later that he had transferred the funds from his own bank account to his mother.

Unaware of her husband’s personal bank account, she asked online users for clarification on her choice in the interim.

‎” I have a personal rule about not accepting the bare minimum when it comes to honesty, and discovering a secret account feels like a total breach of that”, She added.
