She decided to pay him attention, hoping to hear him out without sounding rude or dismissive.

Ice cream incident sparks confusion

The encounter took an unexpected turn when she and her friends went to buy ice cream from a well-known local brand.

While she struggled with a network issue while attempting to make a payment, the man purchased only his own ice cream and left without paying for hers or her friends.

“Even if you didn’t want to pay for my friends, I mean just N200 for ice cream, and you want to ask me out and you want me to reply your text?” she said.
