While dating her ex-boyfriend, a woman on TikTok disclosed how she met her husband.

The narrator starts off by stating that she spent almost a year in a committed relationship with her former boyfriend. During this period, she met the man who would become her husband, but because she was already committed, she remained steadfastly loyal and refused to talk to him.

But her relationship with her boyfriend started to go south. After two months of dating, he started acting more aloof and reclusive. He continued to be closed off in spite of her attempts to “fix” things and encourage him to be open.

After turning to prayer, the narrator says that God started telling her the truth in her dreams. Her boyfriend was “highly spiritual,” so at first she had trouble believing these visions, but the instincts continued.

During a visit, he ordered a pizza, ate nearly all of it himself, and gave her only one slice, which was the breaking point. She exposed a deeper lack of concern when she confronted him about his stinginess.

Her dreams eventually came true when she confronted him about a Senior High School (SHS) girl he was purportedly “helping” but who was actually carrying his child. The betrayal was confirmed by his defensive response, in which he asked how she knew and accused his friends of telling her.

Despite the pregnancy, the narrator initially tried to give him another chance, even planning for the unborn child. She requested to meet the “baby mama” so they could get to know one another. However, when they finally met, the boyfriend introduced the narrator as his sister. This final act of cowardice and deception was the end; she laughed at the absurdity of the situation and walked away for good.

On her way home from that final encounter, she reached out to the man she had met previously. They shared a playful text exchange where he jokingly pretended not to remember her. After she sent him two photos, his enthusiastic response made her realize she had finally found her “peace.”
