A Nigerian woman, Susan Ayanbojo, has appealed for justice following the death of her 27-year-old brother, identified as ID, who was allegedly st@bbed during a dispute over a ₦200 debt in the Igando area of Lagos.

In a viral video, Ayanbojo recounted that her brother had watched an Arsenal football match and eaten at home before going out to a local snooker spot.

According to her, an argument broke out when an 18-year-old snooker operator, identified as David Gideon, allegedly demanded payment of ₦200 said to be owed from a previous game.

She claimed that the disagreement quickly escalated into a physical confrontation. Eyewitnesses reportedly told her that Gideon initially picked up a bottle during the altercation, prompting her brother to also grab a bottle in self-defense.

As tensions increased, ID allegedly attempted to avoid further vi0lence by running into a nearby compound and locking himself inside.

The circumstances surrounding what happened afterward remain the subject of public concern and calls for a thorough investigation. Ayanbojo has urged authorities to ensure that justice is served and that those responsible are held accountable.

The incident has generated widespread reactions online, with many expressing shock that a disagreement over such a small amount of money could allegedly escalate into a fatal confrontation.
