A North Carolina woman has been charged with multiple offences after authorities alleged that she fled from a traffic stop, drove at speeds of up to 111 mph, and crashed, resulting in the d3aths of her three young sons.

Megan Symone Scott, 31, is facing three counts of involuntary m@πslaughter and several other charges linked to the June 3 crash in Fayetteville, according to court records.

Investigators claimed Scott sped away after officers attempted to stop her in connection with an earlier d0mestic disturbance.

An arrest affidavit stated that data recovered from Scott’s Kia Forte showed the vehicle reached 111 mph before crossing the center line, overcorrecting, and crashing into a tree along Highway 53.

Authorities said Scott and two of her sons were thrown from the vehicle during the crash.

Two of the children were pronounced d3ad at the scene, while the third later d!ed at a hospital.

Court documents further alleged that Scott was driving with a revoked license and that none of the children were properly restrained.

Investigators also accused her of a$$aulting her boyfriend earlier that day by biting him and attempting to run him over after he exited the vehicle.

Police said two officers were struck as Scott fled the attempted traffic stop.

Scott was arrested on June 15, 2026, and remains in custody after a judge denied her bond request.

In addition to the involuntary m@πslaughter charges, she is also facing charges including a$$ault on law enforcement officers, a$$ault with a d3adly weapon, hit-and-run, reckless driving, speeding, and multiple child restraint violations.
