Wipe Out This Rubbish or Resign, Then Take Care of the Supporters and Sponsors – Pastor Adeboye

As reported by Daily Post on Tuesday, June 30, 2026, Pastor Enoch Adeboye, who leads the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), mentioned that the increasing incidents of terrorism and banditry in Nigeria’s northern parts have become personally concerning for him, calling the situation more alarming and hard to overlook.

He pointed out that the ongoing rise in insecurity throughout various regions in the country has brought the crisis closer to home, indicating that its impacts are now affecting those areas and individuals he knows well, which highlights the seriousness of the matter in his view.

The pastor also raised alarms about the fact that those responsible for terrorism and banditry seem to operate with minimal obstacles, emphasizing that, in spite of the widespread consequences of their actions, many can still move about without hindrance.

Adeboye shared these thoughts while talking at the US-Nigeria Faith Heroes Award gala, an event put together by the Save Nigeria Group in Washington, where discussions included religious and national issues impacting Nigeria.

In his speech, he mentioned that he had spoken with President Bola Tinubu and the First Lady, Senator Oluremi Tinubu, who is also a pastor in the RCCG, about the escalating security problems Nigeria faces and the pressing need for quick action.

He added that he urged the Nigerian leaders to give strong orders to military leaders to enhance efforts against insecurity, expressing that he suggested a deadline of 90 days for achieving clear results to tackle the worsening situation.

“Get rid of this problem or resign. Then deal with the backers and supporters,” he stated.
