Rita Edochie, a Nollywood actress, has expressed excitement ahead of her alleged court battle with fellow actress Judy Austin.
In response to suggestions that the case was causing her sleepless nights, Edochie said she viewed the legal struggle as an opportunity to confront concerns she had previously decided not to raise publicly.
The actress stated that she was looking forward to the court hearings but was currently preoccupied with celebrating May Edochie’s birthday.
Edochie also stated that she had been studying developments and keeping some things to herself despite having opportunity to speak out.
She said that Judy’s lawsuit had provided her with a way to disclose information that she had previously kept secret and that she was ready to share what she knew when the case was brought before the court.

“This lawsuit dey give Rita Edochie sleepless night.
Mee? As how nah?
Nwa nne, na better opportunity wey I dey find to dey talk wetin I never talk dem give me so I don grab wella.
29th is the code, but first, get ready for my great darling daughter’s birthday, Queen May Yul Edochie; that is more important.
Observing and keeping a lot to myself. There are so many things I could have said before now, but I deliberately chose silence because I didn’t want to force certain conversations into the public space.
But since a lawsuit has now been brought into the picture, let the facts come out. Let the law hold me down if everything I have been saying is not the truth.
Where is the defamation if I have spoken falsely? Then let the court establish it.
But if what I have been saying is true, then why should I be terrified of saying even more? More dey come.
In fact, I have a whole lot more to say, and that is why I thank God for this lawsuit every single day.
You proof have basically handed me the microphone I have been waiting for.
I go use am open fowl nyash!
I go use am well, I swear.
Not with rumours, not with fabricated stories, not with whispers from unknown sources.
I will speak about what I know, what I have said, what I can stand by, and what I believe can be defended before the appropriate authorities.
You cannot drag somebody”.
