A Nigerian soldier has generated outrage online after speaking out about the theft of his motorbike.
In a viral video spreading on X (previously Twitter), @ChuksEricE expressed his disgust with the thief and warned that anyone who stole from him would face divine punishment.
According to him, he said:
“You that went to go and steal my bike, that you stole my bike, I swear God will punish you. Why will you steal my bike? I swear God will punish you.”
The soldier claimed that the bike he was maintaining was recently priced at ₦1.1 million, resulting in personal and financial loss.
“Bike that am managing, I went to price it and it’s ₦1.1 million. Where do you want me to get that amount of money from?” he added.
Many people sympathised with the soldier, while others expressed concern about the poor condition of military members and wondered why a bike could cause such distress.
