“We’ve Taken Enough” — Robber Reportedly Stops Accomplice From Stealing Man’s Car During Home Robbery

A Nigerian man, identified as @Reubenofenugu on X (formerly Twitter), has recounted a robbery incident at his apartment in 2024, revealing how one of the robbers reportedly stopped his accomplice from taking his car.

According to the man, the robbers made away with his two iPhones and laptop during the incident. However, one of the suspects allegedly insisted on taking his car key as well.

Recounting the experience, the man said another member of the gang disagreed with the idea of taking the vehicle, arguing that they had already taken enough valuables from him.

He recalled that the robber appeared to believe that stealing his car would cause him even greater trouble.

The X user suggested that the robbers might have been caught if they had taken the vehicle because it was fitted with a tracking device.

He wrote:

“Another stopped him and said, ‘We’ve taken enough.’ I would have arrested them if they took the car because my car have a tracker.”
