Charly Boy, a Nigerian performer and activist, has issued a severe warning to Nigerians about the country’s future under President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, ahead of the 2027 election.
In a post on his official Facebook page, the outspoken figure warned that if Tinubu is re-elected, the current economic suffering for Nigerians will increase dramatically.
“Nigerian youths, what is our plan against 2027 if Bola Tinubu rigs it? If this man comes back, we will be dying like flies. The hardship about to hit us will be demonic. If we like, we should still be negotiating with rice,” he wrote
The activist, who was a strong supporter of Peter Obi, the former Labour Party presidential candidate in the previous election, warned Nigerians against exchanging their votes for short-term relief like rice and other palliative measures.
Social media users have responded fiercely, with many repeating his fears about inflation and growing living costs, while others believed that his warning was overblown.
His comments contribute to the rising political discourse ahead of the 2027 elections, as Nigerians continue to debate the country’s economic future and leadership candidates.
