A freshly hired gateman was accused of stealing 14 phones from a charging station in Mowe, Ogun State, on his first day of work.

A netizen described as a @Thrift vendor from Mowe/Ibafo reported the incident on the video-sharing platform.

According to the narrator, the incident occurred three years ago when the gatekeeper took advantage of consumers who had arrived to charge their phones.

He allegedly removed all SIM cards before escaping with the devices. The incident was regarded as both alarming and unusual, leaving victims bewildered and perplexed by the unexpected removal of their phones.

When asked if the culprit was ever apprehended, the narrator stated that he was not, but that allegations later appeared that he died while attempting to flee, however this assertion is unsubstantiated.
