Victor Osimhen, a Nigerian striker, has stated that after his playing career, he intends to go back to school and obtain a university degree.

A football career usually lasts about 20 to 25 years, according to Osimhen, therefore it’s critical to plan for life after retirement.

The Super Eagles forward noted that although he has already made investments for the future, he still wants to complete his schooling.

He clarified that his objective is to demonstrate that an individual can drop out of school, succeed in a different sector, and then return to complete their academic career.

“I’d love to go back to school and earn a degree because football only lasts 20–25 years. I already have investments, but I want to prove you can drop out, become successful, and still return to school to finish your education,” he said.
